Arrival and check-in
Check-in is between 13:00 and 20:00. For any other time, please arrange it with us in advance: +36 30 252 2972.
Early check-in (before 13:00) is not possible. We cannot store luggage, except for groups: by arrangement until 13:00 at the latest.
Check-out is by 10:00.
Only registered guests may stay on the premises. You can receive visitors in the common area only; visitors are not allowed in the bedrooms.
Parties and loud music events are not allowed in the common areas or anywhere on the premises.
Check-in requirements
Every guest must show a valid photo ID and fill in the registration form. We treat your data confidentially and do not pass it on to third parties (except where required by law).
The room price is payable on arrival, in cash, by card or with an OTP SZÉP card.
Phone reception hours are 11:00-20:00: +36 30 252 2972. Checked-in guests can call this number 24/7 in an emergency.
Keys
Every guest receives a room key and a gate opener. If a key is lost, damaged or missing, the hostel charges a fee of €20.
You may only use your own bed or room. Using another room or bed costs €5 per bed.
Damage and valuables
Guests are responsible for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence. Compensation is payable in cash before departure.
We take no responsibility for valuables left or forgotten in the rooms or on the premises.
At reception you can get a small locker for valuables free of charge (roughly a laptop fits in it). We ask for a 2000 HUF deposit for the key, which we return when you hand the key back.
We keep lost property for one month. After that it is disposed of, or sent back at the guest's expense.
Quiet hours
Between 22:00 and 08:00 we ask everyone not to disturb other guests. Loud music, noise and phone calls in the corridor are not allowed.
If a guest repeatedly breaks this rule, the hostel may ask them to leave without a refund.
Common areas
Please keep the shared kitchen tidy. You can use the fridge, but take your food with you when you leave; anything left behind is thrown away.
Using household appliances in the rooms is strictly forbidden (your own cooker, iron, hot plate and so on).
Please take care on the balcony of the 7-bed dorm: leaning out and smoking are not allowed there.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the premises.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the building. You may smoke only in the designated place in the courtyard or at least 5 metres from the entrance. If you smoke in a room, we charge a fee for the smoke alarm and for airing the room.
Health
We cannot accept guests who:
- have a fever, COVID-19 or another infectious disease
- arrive with gastrointestinal or skin complaints
- are at risk of seizures or loss of consciousness
- are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
Group bookings
For groups of 8 or more, the terms set out in our offer (payment, cancellation) apply in addition to the general house rules. Details are on the Groups page.
