About us

Who we are

Nap Hostel has been welcoming guests in the centre of Pécs since 2008, on the first floor of an old corner building where Király utca meets Szent Mór utca. We are from Pécs and we live here, so we don't know the city from a brochure: we know where to get a good breakfast, where to hear live music, and which way to head if you want to walk up into the Mecsek hills.

Nap Hostel and NAPartman share the same floor, so there is something for everyone, from a bed in a dorm to a small apartment with its own kitchen, and a larger group of up to 37 people can stay at the same time. On the ground floor are two of our favourite places, Reggeli restaurant and Nappali bar, though both are independent and not part of the hostel. We are in the middle of the pedestrian street, so the area is lively in the evenings: if you want quiet, we recommend the room facing the courtyard, and earplugs are free.

We are green and we care about the environment. We meet you in person when you arrive, and we are happy to give you a few tips about the city. When you write to us, we reply personally, in Hungarian or English. Ask us about Pécs and we will recommend places we go to ourselves; that is what our Pécs guides are made of.

We'd be glad to have you stay with us, and to show you the city a little through our eyes.

The building

We are on the first floor of the corner building at Király utca and Szent Mór utca. Nap Hostel and NAPartman share the same floor: dorms, private rooms, a small apartment with its own entrance and a three-room flat.

On the ground floor you will find Nappali bar and Reggeli restaurant. Both are independent places, but you don't have to leave the building for a coffee or a beer.
